Support for gifted students is realized in the following areas:
- study
- representation of the university
- research
- further education
Who are gifted students?
- complete their studies earlier than average student
- excel in study
- become actively involved in science and research activities and creative work at the university
- excel in presenting their work at conferences and various competitions (sports, musical, artistic, literary, etc.)
How does university support the gifted students?
- MUAF's Study and Examination Code allows students to arrange individual study plan and complete their study earlier than the standard length of study
- excellent results are awarded with merit scholarship or single bonus on completion of study -- Rector's award, Dean's award, or Dean's honourable mention for final thesis
- faculty awards special bonus for successful presentation at conference
- faculty awards special bonus for successful representation of university at sports, musical, art or literary events
- consultative form of study, or study at our partner universities abroad
- participation in research and creative teams according to student's interest and propositions of the institutes
Support for individuals:
- merit scholarship for excellent study results
- special scholarship for representing the faculty, or university
- grant aimed at presenting research results at conferences or in publications (e.g. through Internal grant agency)
- making use of university/faculty facilities as part of a research team
- grant for trips abroad in order to carry out research and present research results, or complete final thesis
