Lending Department

Students, Mendel University staff and external users can borrow text books and books here. The Lending Department also accommodates dissertation theses, diploma theses written 5 or more years back, bound volumes of magazines published 10 or more years back that can be borrowed to the study hall only. It is possible to search in the repertory catalogue and in study literature here. Registration fee for an academic year can be paid in the Lending Department.

Students: CZK 120 in the first year of every study program (includes service offered by the Lending Department, entrance to study rooms, access to the Internet)
External users: CZK 240 (includes service offered by the Ledning Department, entrance to study rooms)

Library in Lednice

Library in Lednice is a detached library of ISI Mendel University for the Faculty of Horticulture of Mendel University in Brno. It includes Loan Department, study room and offers interlibrary book loan service. The two libraries (Brno and Lednice) share the register of readers and you can borrow and return books in both libraries (you can borrow books in Brno and return them in Lednice and vice versa). On the computers you can access the aggregated catalogue and all electronic information sources made available by the Infromation center of ISI Mendel University.
