Publishing centre

Publishing centre is part of the Institute for Scientific Information located in the Mendel University complex in building Q, where all establishments and store rooms, including text books shop, are concentrated.

Publishing centre is responsible for publishing study materials (text books), professional periodical Acta Universitatis, monographies, proceedings, information and promotion materials and other printed matters whose purpose is to introduce the university.

Publishing centre offers special services to university staff and students:

Copying

• zoom in and zoom out

Book scanning

• up to A2 format
• backup copies for later processing 

Plotter printing

• large-scale printing of sheets from AutoCad
• large-scale colour printing and desiging promotion materials 

Binding

• paperback
• centre stitching, book back lining
• thermal binding, fastback binding
• comb binding

Laminating

• individual sheets
• cards

Manufacture of text books and proceedings

• on agreement, from delivered electronic or printed copies

Publishing centre is open daily from 8am to 2pm, with 30 minutes lunch break.
